This is with some efficiency settings disabled and 2-core at 5.8 and all-core at 5.6ghz. Stress test the system pulls ~436 watts, my 7900xtx oc pulls ~400 watts, so yeah if a game ever can use 20 threads I'd pull ~850w continuous :laugh:

This averaged 25-50% cpu utilization (7-14 threads in use) and highest power at my killawatt was about 640w. Actually I had to re-run and edit this, didn't realize the youtube didn't use default graphics settings.

Not sure what to compare it to, this? the 4090/7900x

60-65 Celcius in counter-strike (~400 FPS), 95 Celcius in cinebench, 83Celcius with cpu-z bench, 82Celcius with cpu-z bench avx512. Ambient is about 20Celcius.

Running 105 BCLK on my 7800X3D gives me a 720 single core up from ~ 680 stock.

Zen 3 still has excellent ST performance considering its age, but its no match for 3D V-cache.

Wanna replace with i7 if find it for $5-10, no more lol. I'm pretty OK with it's performance. Always loved 4 gen. :love:

AMD Ryzen 3 4100. Turbo is off though, as it is really not needed in office typewriter. It has box cooler so has to be cool, stable, long-lifer and f--in silent lol
