Making your words mine.The last few years publications try to be friendly to Nvidia. And while I am usually very harsh on that and probably my reaction to that is usually the only reason I get banned left and right(never for behavior), looking from their point of view, you don't upset the 2.5 trillion company that controls 90% of the market and it is rumored to be very vindictive against even it's own partners. AMD tried in the past to do the same, I think with TPU, withholding their Vega64(?) sample for review, only to be forced to apologize later(if I remember correctly). Nvidia is a different beast and even HUB that gone public against them, the last two years advertise DLSS like it is the only feature you need in a card.
Nvidia is known for abusing its dominant position on the market, and imposing its rules onto the media and reviewers, as some kind of soft power. I've seen this over and over, left and right.
Amd probably would do the same if tables were turned.
