Probably something unique to this gent, I had absolutely zero issues today.

The "Like" button is misbehaving on mobile.

Tapping it to react "Like" works perfectly, but pressing and holding for other reactions does not. It brings up the context menu as well as the reactions panel.

Tapping away from the context menu closes it and the reactions panel stays open, though.

This did not happen before the Xenforo upgrade.

I'm not having any issues at all. What are we talking about. Granted, I'm on FireFox running on a very fast PC with fiber internet...

So, what's going on here? Using FF not mad any changes, just refreshed my tab from earlier and the whole forum looks like this

Well I'm not sure if this can be changed or not but it appears xenforo backend has enabled the option of changing light and dark theme on mobiles too.

After I made a reply I noticed some elements were dark and others light. It uses the System default (dark mode). So some tpu elements need the option to do so as well.

you can assign the ability to certain groups so you can look and play with it without it disrupting or being an option for everyone.

Ah, it's gone again now so assume you are just playing around/testing for the time being. Hopefully that's not the final look though IMHO, also site is running very slow, taking 8+/- seconds to load give or take, same all over the forums, threads, notification button to open etc

Yeah, it took forever to "rebuild the templates", now I have a 2nd style that I can mess around in without breaking things for everybody else

is there a reason the site keeps becoming so laggy and slow last 20 mins? its intermittent. bleh. works fast one second then laggy and slow the next. all other websites working fine for me.

i assume this is due to your tinkering you are talking about here, so no big deal, just curious if its just me or not

Highlight to partial quote and a few other design elements are probably misbehaving for you as well. Maybe our respective next browser update fixes it for both of us.

what's happening, which part of the site, repeatable, other sites affected, happens on another browser, on another device, phone, phone without wifi

Metaphorically speaking of course, and since you didn't notice and it fixed itself, there's nothing to describe or report now.
The site was refusing to load or took a long time and would not fully load. Yes just this site as others loaded normally.

I think changes to darkmode has affected the default skin:

Confirmed, I think this is something I won't fix for now, so I don't have to keep two themes synchronized. I expect that I'll enable the dark mode theme later today anyway, which should still look correct in light mode

FYI I noticed system specs dropdown seems to be broken (in light mode). It appears to paint text but not a background for that text. In dark mode it seems ok.

Same here. When turning off DarkReader, the text is visible but the background field is fully transparent.
