RX 9000 series GPU Owners Club

@Psychoholic, @LittleBro and @TsunamiWorks you've been added to the list, welcome aboard!!! :toast:

Great to see more cards joining the club! I hope you're all enjoying them and that everything's running within spec.

Just a quick note for future members, to keep things easy on both ends, please tag me with my nickname and include your specs when you'd like to be added. That way it's easier for me to spot new entries and make sure nobody gets missed. I'll update the first port as well with this info. Thanks for your cooperation!

@H82LUZ73 do you want to add more details? If not, I'll add you with just the card details but the rest on Unknown, you tell me, up to you! :)

Same for the Pure, The card from Saphire that uses the 12V-2x6(H++) connector is the Nitro+.

I just got my card installed this afternoon, enjoying some 3DMark bench's. I haven't fully overclocked it yet, only running -50mv voltage offset, fast timings option @ 2518. :)
What's your 3DMark Nomad/Time Spy or Superposition score at fully stock out of the box settings ? Also how much watts it draws at stock...... Curious to know.

With new drivers 25.5.1 my card is stable at -35mv

This is from the Adrenaline OC menu.
Yeah, I figured, but what does it do? I tested both Fast Timings ON and OFF and there seem to be no to margin of error difference.

VRAM timings are changing, probably CL and a few others that were on older cards, probably something similar here.

That's peak watts for short period of time ms..... It looks like your gpu draws 340 watts at stock.

Are you sure you have score of 6034 for 3DMark Nomad ?

At stock settings @317 watts my RX 9070 XT Prime OC has around ~ 7050 Score and @340 watts your score should be higher than mine.

Use MSI afterburner and it will show how much power it draws when fully loaded.

TPU shows 358 watts are you using exactly the same model ?

My card is without Magnetic-Air Fans,.. otherwise same Mercury OC model.

I'm having issues with 3DMark when running HWiNFO sensors in task bar while benching,.. I get error, or says no hardware monitoring.

3DMark runs fine with HWiNFO sensors off,...

I will download 3dmark and check it again i have feeling that your score is not right.

Thanks, could be something going on with my settings,.. on the first run I was getting error, running 3DMark in windowed mode, it was an Windows 11 setting issue. But I still am getting errors in results.

I haven't had any errors with HWiNFO closed so far,...

It is not, for sure. I'm getting 6800ish with my pulse on stock, so an OC card can't be lower.

on stock with gigabyte gaming oc was about 7000, and with -80mV it is 7661, and now on stock i can't get lower than 7300. on steel nomad
something is not right, but the windows is something wrong.
@Braegnok have You ddu Your drivers?
I've bought the 3dmark it's on sale right now I will try the time spy.
Edit1 something is really not right https://www.3dmark.com/compare/spy/55879819/spy/55857625
Ps nvidia drivers and amd drivers i think they don't like each other. And You've had the 3090 on the system in 3dmark.

Thanks,.. I haven't ddu my drivers yet. But I agree something is wrong?

I reset system BIOS, reset AMD Software, I'm going to test to see if it is a BIOS issue, Address Hash Bank was in Auto/Default and I was running 8000MHz memory,.. I'm testing default 5600MHz now.

If this doesn't fix issue I will need to ddu drivers,.. do you think my 3090 on 3dmark, nvidia drivers could be still in play,.. 3dmark scans system before run?

Default Settings 5600 1.1v.jpg

Something definitely is not right try to reinstall drivers (Remove all old drivers completely) that windowed mode also could be the issue use only default 3dmark settings.

Nomad

7 034 Fully Stock 317 watts
7 087 UV @288 watts -9% Power Limit -35% Voltage offset, Fast timings, Memory 2614Mhz
7 221 UV @317 watts 0% Power Limit -35% Voltage offset, Fast timings, Memory 2614Mhz

and now on stock i can't get lower than 7300. on steel nomad
At stock it uses 330 watts ? That's surprisingly good result at those watts just out of the box.......

It's rated 330W card, so it should use it well :). I will reinstall windows and see on stock everything how the parameters go :).

Best way to know for sure is MSI Afterburner.

You can also try Unigine Superposition 1080p Extreme test....

Thanks for all the help everyone, I reinstalled drivers, reset system bios and reset amd software. I think issue is fixed now, but I don't know which item was causing issue.

The new scores after resetting everything, full stock are now much better,.. I was getting worried thinking my new card was borked,.. :toast:

Very close to my UV Score @317 watts. :) But what is confusing that HWinfo64 shows 340watts but TPU shows 358watts for this gpu at stock.

I was worried after the first day testing the new card,.. having all the issues, then seeing those low scores in default settings,.. I'm guessing it was a driver issue. I ran three more time spy, steel nomad benches and scores were all close, or same as first run,.. so the card is running good now.

I'm leaving everything at stock for a few days, keep testing stock settings to confirm card is working, and was not the issue. :)

Fresh windows 10 ltsc install.

Tested in Nomad it shows no peaks for fully stock or undervolted settings.
