The front panel was in a bit of a state, and I wanted to mount my own lights/buttons, so cut the bad bit off. I had it with no front panel at first, but the dvd/sd drives wouldn't fully slot in to be flush with the case. So I got out ma hacksaw!

Urr seems obvious now, cheers. Is it just the HIS x1950 that has trouble with gpu overclocking? (in fact I had to downclock mine) ...as I noticed others were getting 650-660. Would these be other brand x1950s or is there a way the HIS card could be pushed that far?

In bios I had the option of 'cpu,pcie sync' or 'cpu,pcie async', I went with the first. Then 'pci frequency' options were 'sync with cpu' or 33.33mhz up to 37.50mhz, I chose the default setting of 33.33mhz. Are these settings ok? I manually set it to 266, which worked a treat! I'm a bit...

I recently got an E6700 and an Asrock 4coredual-vsta mobo, however the system specs shown in cpu-z confuse me. The stock speed of the E6700 is 2.66ghz, shows up in bios as 2.66ghz, but cpu-z (and system properties) show it as 2.56ghz. The 'rated fsb' shows up as 1025mhz when i thought it...

Is the dive in ram performance the only reason against getting this board? Wouldn't you recommend it? I like the sound of a Core 2 Duo + 2gb ddr400 more than a Pentium D + 2gb ddr333 :)
