ASUS cards are costlier because they are better binned.. Even though the clocks are the same as the reference design... The card is good if the ASUS Sticker and the 3 parralel lines r not removable like stickers... ;) I home they make a Direct Cu III version too with probably 4 slots and 6 Mini...

I think it has 4 Gigs of RAM coz it is having 8 mem chips.. Same as the XFX HD 5970 LE 4 Gb

Can someone tell me why the heck they use a chip to connect the two GPUs. Cant they simply connect them without the shitty chip which spoils the Aesthetics of the PCB.

I think the 3 GB Memory Buffer will help the GTX 580 perform better... Because 6970 gives more performance at 1920*1080 and 2560*1600 than GTX 480.... But at lower resolutions the GTX 480 outperforms.. Meaning the GTX 580 requires extra memory to perform better at higher resolutions since its...
