    Limited OC, HD 7570

Thanks! :) Will give it a shot. After opening with Notepad, looks like this will work with possibly any GPU, am I correct? Cat

    AMD Ryzen 9 3900X

At the conclusion of the review, the only con was no onboard graphics. Some time back, onboard graphics was on the back of the MB OEM's. They took the lead of Intel at providing graphics with 1st gen 'i' series & didn't give us as much of a cent in savings & as a result of, reaped the profits...

    Limited OC, HD 7570

If you find a way to unlock the voltage, please post the way you did it here, have an Optiplex 740 where I'll continue to run one. :) Sorry to hear you can't get that GTX 960, I'd buy it for $30 in a heartbeat, on eBay these sells nearly for what I paid new. In fact, that was my 2nd retail...

    PCI-Express 4.0 NVMe SSD Performance on Ryzen 3000 & X570

Me too!:) The Samsung 980, when released, will likely be a PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. Currently have the 1st of the series (512GB 950 PRO) & a 970 PRO of the same type & size, just haven't got around to installing it. I want to perform a clean install of Windows 10 1903, no desire to clone. Will use...

    Limited OC, HD 7570

Forget it, I have 5-6 of those cards, using AMD Overdrive, can get one slider to go to 900MHz & the other around 650-700MHz. This is really an OEM card, while newer drivers may be offered, best to stick with 15.7.1 to avoid problems...

AMD FX 4350: My first FX build!

You could had got a brand new FX-8350 on Newegg for $59.99 + tax shipped, I picked up a 2nd last week with the promo (via email signup only). Also have the 8370, although more expensive for not much gain. It's said to be a 'binned' 8350, if so, I can't tell, other than the $40 more out of my...

Some people accuse TPU of 'bias' towards Nvidia.

Yeah, I remember quite well & to this day still goes on. I was suckered into purchasing an HP AIO PC versus superior Dell & Toshiba models, the last year the latter shipped a PC, before exiting that business. The reviewer cherry picked the 'pros' of the HP, while negating those of the...

[US] SanDisk SSD Plus 1TB SATA III 6.0 GB/s 2.5" Internal Solid State Drive $116 shipped

@Sasqui, thanks for the article at Tom's, having Adblock Plus meant no ads for me!:) It only reinforced my decision to avoid these drives, although did learn DRAM-less SSD's wasn't a late 2018 concept. Glad that other than NVMe models for last year (other than the BX500), didn't need any other...

Some people accuse TPU of 'bias' towards Nvidia.

Try installing AMD's latest 'recommended' drivers on a MSI Radeon 7770 GHz edition & the driver issues will be seen fast.:) This is why I stick with 15.7 on Windows 7 & whatever Microsoft throws at me on Windows 10, last time I updated to latest, was a disaster. Had to use the DDI tool from...

Some people accuse TPU of 'bias' towards Nvidia.

Did anyone here other than myself get the AMD email in regards to the Radeon VII? Link below the 4K 144Hz monitor. If so, check one spec, never mind the memory, 7nm & so on, rather 4K performance. One should expect more than that from a card with such advancements & come 2-3 more years, the...

[US] SanDisk SSD Plus 1TB SATA III 6.0 GB/s 2.5" Internal Solid State Drive $116 shipped

I was interested......very much so, until I discovered, just like a 240GB Crucial BX500 I purchased ($34.99 with promo code), is DRAM-less. Am not deep into the specs, as this was a first for me.......SSD w/out DRAM? At any rate, this is what one's getting here. Good thing though, being out of...

    Used Hardware Purchaser’s Club

Please accept my apologies in regards to my post above (#2).:) As a human, am imperfect, didn't read the OP's post closely & misunderstood badly. However for the record, I do buy a lot of used hardware, for the most part, have been satisfied. Like with this GTX 670 which came in the mail...

Some people accuse TPU of 'bias' towards Nvidia.

As a TPU follower for quite some time, long before becoming a member, I've personally not seen bias towards one brand or the other.:) However, have seen a few that does, when I do, may read a review, will take it with a grain of salt.:D The cool thing about TPU is it's wealth of information...

    Used Hardware Purchaser’s Club

I feel this is a fantastic idea! While the majority of Tech forums doesn't offer this, a few does (notably AnandTech), although requires dedicated moderation. Another noteworthy aspect, a bad seller, no matter how long (s)he has been a member, can lose access (suspension) if the deal isn't made...

4K Ultra HD Monitors with 144 Hz Refresh-rate and G-SYNC HDR Start Being Available

Dell & I forgot whom else, released a 5K monitor last year, was over $4,000 (maybe ($5,000) & were sold out in no time, were accepting pre-sales.:) NVIDIA has been stating for at least 2 years that 4K was the future of gaming, and now that the chance is getting close, these prices won't hold...
