I've thought about that, and since this is my school laptop, I have many important projects/files/programs/settings already installed on here, and would really like to avoid this if utterly possible.

I don't think cleaning out the little bit of dust will help lower it below the safe levels, for reasons stated above, is there another solution in which i have missed??

I have it on a cheap cooling pad, so it should be cooler than normal. My laptop fan is still working, i can really hear it ramp up when the temps gets higher, its usually pretty silent.
