Uploading results of latest test with the BIOS that came out on May 06. I did change the BIOS settings a little bit from what they were before (didn't want to bother making it a carbon copy). Not sure if because of that or because of the update itself, the performance seems to have increased...

For most gaming builds 9600X/9700X will be more than enough, the bottleneck already being the GPU.

We will never find out.

Thought I'd share the results. Upper result is 1.2.0.3. Below is 1.2.0.2a. Same BIOS settings. System specs are exactly as in my profile here.

For 550$ and given it's full ray tracing enabled, it's pretty good. Wonder how it would be against the other two cards in these games (or others) with RT disabled.

One of the reasons I'm using AMD cards is because their software is less intrusive and has more features. Hope this new app will be an improvement. My experience with Nvidia software so far was only frustratious and usually ended up in me uninstalling everything and just staying with driver only.

I have had only the best experience using Enermax PSUs for many years. Ideally I choose only between Seasonic and Enermax.

The heatsink looks real cheap, but it's a 1660, they put identical cards into cramped laptops. 60C for idle is absolutely abnormal in 20C ambient temp. Can you confirm you've monited it being consistently around 60C under <5% load? That just seems hard to believe and if it's true I'll repeat my...

- 90C doesn't sound like a big deal for modern cards. Maybe just accept the temps as they are? - Undervolt/underpower/underclock the card by ~5%, it will likely drop temps by more than 10%. - Maybe the heatsink isn't touching properly, consider repasting.

Funny so AMD releases their new line, all the reviewers review the CPUs and THEN a couple weeks later: - Windows update with 10% uplift - BIOS update with 10% uplift Meanwhile most reviews won't change. Kinda feels bad. :D
