http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102608 then unlock the 4 pipes and o/c - should be similiar performace if not better than your old x800xt pe stock.

X1800 series experiences / overclock results etc.

Yea, I'm not looking for anything too crazy actually - I just want to get around xt speeds ideally, but I'll see what it can do.

qpack water cooling with a x1800xl...

what board would I use? the EVGA 131-K8-NF44? it's the only sli m-atx board on the market... doesn't seem like the best of ideas. Plus, the heat alone would warrant watercooling for the gpus... and power could be a problem, but overcomable. so ~$350+ - and whatever the evga board costs (if it...

    Radeon X1600 Pro Vs Radeon x800 GT0

a P4C800 deluxe? should be fine. it has an agp 8x/Pro (agp 3.0) slot from reviews I've seen good performance for that board compared to others that are the same chipset etc. and yes, 256bit is better- that's referring to the memory's bandwidth. The main advantage for most users is that means...

    Radeon X1600 Pro Vs Radeon x800 GT0

In all current games the x800gto will beat the x1600pro at stock speeds. The x1600xt will about match a x800. Both cards can be overclocked fine, but the x800 would have some headroom because the chip is just a dumbed down x850 xt (pe even) while the x1600pro's chip is a little more limited...

X1800 series experiences / overclock results etc.

can't wait till I get my sapphire x1800xl 256mb and see what kind of speeds I can get :-x I'll play with stock, but I plan on water cooling it eventually. As far as I understand it... I'm best off just o/cing till it won't anymore - instead of attempting any kind of bios flash etc - is this the...

    GIGABYTE "IRAM": Affordable "solid-state" storage

depending on how reliable it is... putting your os on there would be awesome for system performance. and your swap file :-x Or... get 2 of them, raid 0 them together.... that might have some interesting performance advantages...

    X1800 support 1650x1050?

there's also a "Force..." setting that you can try. If all else fails... there's also powerstrip, and you can set whatever resolutions you want with that.

    Radeon X1600 Pro Vs Radeon x800 GT0

get an x800gto and unlock it... much better deal. 256 less mb of ram... you won't see the difference, but you'll definatelly see the performance difference between the two cards, the x800 destroying the x1600 tbh. unlocking is risky though, you may or may not be able to, but even if you can't...
