It is a crazy amount to spend and potentially lose, it can be quite a stressful situation... that's kind of you to say.
I was unlucky enough to be affected by this and lost the power connector on my 4090 to a 180° CableMod adapter on the male side, a 1.0 revision. It was fully seated and still...
Ouch.
Though I must admit I was expecting worse from the title of the article, potential impact on AVX2 and AVX-512 workloads seems far more limited than say, any and all workloads at least.
But regardless, I'm not sure if this is an odd thought.. but I can't shake the feeling sometimes that...
I can't speak to it with peripherals like keyboard & mouse but I can assure you, it used to be a lot, lot worse and barely, if at all, functional. At least now I'm able to set fan curves which actually work and it doesn't freeze or crash.
Ouch, feel bad for the employees but the block prices are Insane. For very little improvement in temperature and a block that costs a little over 2x as much as my 1080Ti one... I've had to make a hard pass.
It's not worth it.
Well, the article says: "These prices are simply pure nonsense and should not be taken as an indicator of what these upcoming cards will cost."
I do feel sorry for many in Europe who have to suffer VAT though. The prices really are improving in Australia though I haven't noticed any AMD GPU...
Thanks, I was initially put off doing this due to the lack of availability of the GTZN in Australia and not wanting to end up with the GTZNC but ultimately found a couple of stores that sold GTZN kits. On my 3900X, they ran quite easily overclocked to 3800MHz with CL14 timings with a 1900MHz...
Impressive by any means. I'm curious how the 250w PCIe version of the card performs compared, considering Nvidia stated 90% of the performance of the SXM4 card.. it'd be nice to know what that 90% is, in different metrics for performance.
Also, extremely curious once perhaps yields are more...
Mm, I find that very interesting and a nice addition. It's also great to hear that lower resolutions can utilise a higher refresh rate. As for all the FreeSync/G-Sync/G-Sync Compatible "debate" going on, I think I'll just continue referring to the objective analysis from BlurBusters & TFTCentral...
Aren't they all using vsync though?
This is a cooler product than I was expecting though from Razer, the 120Hz panel is a nice move and I'd love the fluidity. Though I currently wouldn't sacrifice the AMOLED display on my Note 8 for 120Hz, as much as I love high refresh rates.
I doubt it, not...
That's honestly exactly what I would have thought too, so it left me somewhat confused as I thought AWS would have massive scalability potential.
All I know is that their Asian servers, quote from this article, had an issue where the "cloud service ran out of capacity". That and their constant...
Because AMD isn't nearly as much as a threat to Intel as Nvidia is in terms of their establishment of several new revenue streams in all massive growth segments. Intel sales were down last year, if I recall. The problem is, Nvidia isn't establishing themselves as a chip manufactuer but has...
