Very weird product; gamers who create, and creators who game, are a very strange use case to throw something at - a high-end video card that sits somewhere between 500 and 1k probably already does the job adequately, what's the incentive to get a 1.5k card that won't really do a better job?

There's a huge market for sub-$500 laptops, and frankly for people like my parents, they don't need much more than a Celeron chip to allow them to go on Facebook and watch a video or two.

Hasn't Nvidia said they have no plan to adopt 10.1 though? I can't see how that helps developers given Nvidia's rather large market share, why bother to put out performance features that only work on ATI cards?
