Synology needs to do away with the 4 pin din connector for their products. It was problematic on my first Synology NAS over 10 years ago, and I won't buy any of their models that have it. Ironically they are still using the same enclosure as well...

Everything is too expensive, and if you already built a decent PC in the last few years there's no reason to upgrade. I used to buy the best high-end PGU every year... but since I seldom play games anymore, there's no need. I can browse the net on my phone or chromebook...

Just wait until they come out with AI for management. Just imagine how much money can be saved by AI bots having meetings with other AI bots. All they do is make decisions, something that can be done with some programming. Keep pushing metrics, it will make it that much easier for bots to decide...
Time for PC component companies to start innovating, creating better, cheaper, and more efficient products. Voting with your wallet is the only voice you have as a consumer.
It's basically on par with most things made now due to supply issues and demand. Quality control doesn't exist anymore - the general population are the testers. Need to meet deadlines of those who sit in meetings all day...rush rush rush.
Hopefully this leads to other companies doing the same so AMD and Nvidia have to compete on price and power efficiency. GPU's have been out of hand for a long time.
