i have Transcend DDR2-800 2x2gb. My motherboard is MSI K9A2 CF - BIOS 1.9V Processor Athlon 64 X2 4800+ Sapphire 4850 512MB what seems to be the problem? Do i need to turn on some options? :)

Thanks for the replies. Im going to use the switch for a small internet cafe that i am going to setup. There might be games, im not yet sure about the owner. But if there are games should i then use gigabit switch or can i just use a 100mbps switch?

hello, what i did was just returned my motherboard and replaced it with a new one. The motherboard was the problem because when i used the new one, cpuz indicated x16 Link width. :)

i just did something. I placed a 8600gts vc. The link width is still x8 based on nvidia control panel and everest. So i guess its the motherboard.

i cant see an option in the BIOS where i could change the link width
