Who owns a VR or AR HMD?

I currently have the 1st gen Samsung Odyssey and plan on preordering the Reverb G2 when it becomes available here in Canada.

No display on monitors when restarting PC?

What headset is it? I have personally had issues with no monitor display on some system restarts if my Samsung Odyssey headset is plugged in. I'm not 100% sure but I think the OS sometimes sees it as the default display instead of the monitor.

OP do you have any accessories such as a WMR VR headset plugged into the PC? If you do try unplugging it and if not then I would also try one monitor at a time like Caring1 suggested.

win 10 takes a looong time to restart!

Have you run the DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth scan too? This can also find and repair problems with the OS. There are many things that could be causing it....windows updates, unstable overclock settings, faulty hardware, etc. I'm not familiar with Gigabyte bios but there must be...

win 10 takes a looong time to restart!

You might have corrupted system files. Do the following to check Right-click on Start and then select Command Prompt (Admin). Type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth, and then press Enter. This will fix any corruptions that it finds. Type SFC /Scannow on the prompt, and then press...

New PC Build LiveKernel141 and BSOD

This is the board I'm currently looking at as an upgrade from my x470 strix. The reviews I've read and watched on youtube say its a really good x570 board, especially at its price point. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-X570-TOMAHAWK-WIFI I should also mention your 3200mhz kit is on the qvl...

I also suggest downloading Thaiphoon burner and running to find out what type of chipsets are on the ram. Then you can download Ryzen dram calculator and run it to get some recommended timings. https://www.techpowerup.com/download/ryzen-dram-calculator/ http://www.softnology.biz/

It is possible for bad ram settings to cause memtest errors.

New PC Build LiveKernel141 and BSOD

Instead of switching back and forth between ram kits I suggest installing the 3600 set and then run the ryzen dram calculator to get some timings to try. If you don't already have one I also suggest creating a bootable flash drive with Memtest.

I'm sifting through the corsair forums and seeing a few threads complaining of stability problems with XMP settings.

Yeah, I'm thinking it might be a good idea to find out what type of chip is on the ram sticks and then use dram calculator to get some timings to try.

Yeah, new builds can sometimes be a little frustrating. Do you have a part number for your original ram kit?

Yep, I just found that too. I wonder if the issues are all memory timing related? Maybe even the original kit just needs to be tweaked?

I I was trying to check that also but gigabyte website was flaky and not loading. Both kits are not in the QVL list?
