Except they're not the "same." As GPU becomes faster, the difference increases. You pay less for AMD, but you also get less from them. 9900k @ 5GHz will steal the the crown from our current emperor 8700k until Intel decides to usurp their own throne with Ice Lake.

They still release high performing hardware to PC gamers. What's there to hate?

Over 5GHz with 8 cores is an instant buy at $460. I will gladly pay more to support companies such as Nvidia and Intel who still cares about PC gamers; but $460 is a generous offer.

X599 looks like the only true HEDT platform on the market. Six channel memory, fast cores, extreme VRM, and best of all it is actually an "overclockers dream." Kingp1n is going to monopolize world records even more.

They can because 1) 7980XE is currently the fastest HEDT. 2) 2990WX is a one-trick-pony workstation CPU that fails to attract the HEDT crowd due to compromising gaming performance and overclockability. Hence why AMD added a "W" into its name.

My comment aligns with the article. People want Intel processors more than their competitors.

They're just trying to bump their AMD stocks higher LMAO. It's the same with these articles where AMD "may" get X amount of market share, AMD "may" do this, AMD "may" do that.
