First Comprehensive Review of the Core i7-11700K (ES) Surfaces

I never once mentioned the 11400F. What I did talk about was the 11700k, because that's the subject of this post, and all my points are vaild. The 11700k apparently uses 20% more power, and is the same speed @1080p in games according to the few benchmarks we've seen. It's only impressive if you...

First Comprehensive Review of the Core i7-11700K (ES) Surfaces

Ah yes, your source gives the 10700k at 4k a tiny fps lead in some games from this highly reputable youtuber that has a whole 2k subs who doesn't even do controlled benchmark runs, and the actual in-game benchmarks he does run? 2-4 fps. You understand that one 4k run isn't representative, actual...

First Comprehensive Review of the Core i7-11700K (ES) Surfaces

You understand how biased you sound in this post, correct? The 11700k doesn't look like an awful product if you only compare it to Intel's other products, but it doesn't look particularly appealing when you consider AMD's offerings as well. The 11700k compared to the 5800x: 11700k has much more...

AZZA Introduces CAST Mid-Tower ATX PC Case with Removable Outer Shell and Independent Frame

Uh, what? With a dust filter, the maintenance on a PC consists of 1. Remove Dust filter. 2. Clean off Dust filter. 3. Put back in. A PC isn't mechanical(except the fans), there's no oil to change or need to lubricate gears, so your car example isn't relevant. The extent of maintenance with a...

AZZA Introduces CAST Mid-Tower ATX PC Case with Removable Outer Shell and Independent Frame

... and I hate it. I legitimately hate open designs, or designs with absolutely no filters(fine mesh is... iffy). In my opinion filters are worth the cost of a few degrees for the convenience of not having to clean the entire PC out every few months.

GPUs to See Price Increase Due to Import Tariffs, Other PC Components to Follow

US Manufacturing coming back is a fantasy that people that ignore economics cling to. Manufacturing jobs in the last 4 years in the US increased by around 450,000((https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/MANEMP). COVID subsiquently eliminated all the gains. Manufacturing under the previous...

Intel Core i9-11900K CPU-Z Benchmark Score Leaks

The 5800x is above the 11900k in the multi-threaded graph. If the 11900k is priced above the 5800x, at or near the 5900x's price, it won't even be worth considering in most use cases(assuming 5800x & 5900x are in stock).

Intel Core i9-11900K CPU-Z Benchmark Score Leaks

5900x vs 11900k 2.5% Faster than a 5900x single core 34% slower than a 5900x in multi-core. Seems like a... something I guess. This CPU will need to come in at 5800x's price to be competitive as long as there's stock of 5800x's to be had by the time the 11900k releases.

The Ultimate Zen: AMD's Zen 3 Achieves 89% Higher Performance Than First-generation Zen

Edit: Got the core count wrong for the 9700k. Hard to compare Intel through 4 Generations. 7700k was a 4/8 Core Part 8700k was a 6/12 Core Part 9700k was a 8/8 Core Part 9900k was a 8/16 Core Part 10600k was a 6/12 Core Part 10900k was a 10/20 Core Part 9700k is 0.2% faster in CPU tests & 2%...

How is Intel Beating AMD Zen 3 Ryzen in Gaming?

I'm sorry, but this is getting old. Every post you're comparing the 5600X to the 10700 & 10700k even though I've shown you, clearly, that they are in different price brackets, and are not direct competitors. I've shown you that the 10700 & 10700k are anywhere from 8%(in the best case, and the...

How is Intel Beating AMD Zen 3 Ryzen in Gaming?

Are you still going on about the 10700 vs the 5600x? For real? I've been over this with you a few times already. The 10700 is $325(8% more) at B&H right now. That's the lowest it currently is on any normal site such as Amazon, Newegg, B&H, etc. Just because you can find it for less on a few...

    AMD Ryzen 5 5600X

    1. Yes, two CPU's that cost more than the 5600X are sometimes faster than the 5600X. Again, the 5600X is slotted between the 10600k & 10700. 2. The 10700k is not a competitor to the 5600X. How many times do we have to go over this? The 10700k is $375 on B&H, Amazon, Newegg & Best Buy as the time...

    AMD Ryzen 5 5600X

10700 non-K, because of it's low base clock, is slower in the majority of CPU(-7%) and ±3% in gaming tests on the review itself, and it's more expensive than the 5600X. Great? The 5600X slots in-between the 10600k & 10700 non-k really quite well. It's faster in almost every case than the 10700...

    AMD Ryzen 5 5600X

I'm not sure why you are comparing a $300 CPU to a $375 one. Clearly the 5600X's competition is the $275 10600k. The 5600X is faster in the cumulative CPU(11%) & Gaming tests(3.8% @720p) than the 10600k. The 5600X is around 10% more expensive. The price is somewhat justified then, is it not...

    AMD Ryzen 7 5800X

    1. 5800X uses less power than the 10900k in gaming. It isn't "OC'd", it's just an efficient architecture with a good boost algorithm. The stock 5800X uses less power than even the 6/12 10600k in most power tests on TPU. 2. AMD can price their CPU's however they want to. 2(a). You're joking about...
