    Blizzard Cancels Blizzcon 2024

They only have 2 games anyone gets excited about anymore, WoW & Diablo (Overwatch killed itself with the promises 2 broke). Diablo 4 still was still fresh for 2023, but there's a lot less enthusiastic hardcore fans these days, with plenty of quality ARPG's around better suited to those types of...

Unreal Engine 5.4 is Now Available With Improvements to Nanite, AI and Machine Learning, TSR, and More

All Unreal games have issues, they're just more prominent when they release. UE4 games still mostly run poorly, it's just that hardware has increased so much that they now perform 'well enough'. Only company that ever seems to be able to make optimized UE games are Epic themselves.

Noctua Introduces NH-L12Sx77 Low-profile CPU cooler

The NF-A14 doesn't have much lower static pressure than the P14, and most, if not all of the static pressure difference likely comes from the A14 having a lower RPM than the P14(1500 vs 1700). At higher RPM's, for example, NF-A14 industrialPPC-2000, has a static pressure of 4.18 mm at 2000RPM...

    Minisforum V3 High-Performance AMD AI 3-in-1 Tablet Starts at $1199 Pre-Sale

It's also ~1lb lighter than the Ideapad 14" and has a 1600p 165hz screen verses a 1200p 60hz screen. I couldn't find a Ideapad 14" with more than 16GB of RAM(in the US), so it has 16GB more RAM unless you can confirm otherwise. Laptops/tablets have always been about compromise. This one's value...

Logitech G Unveils the PRO X 60 Gaming Keyboard Featuring Keycontrol Technology

To be fair, the Keychron Q Pro keyboards are only bluetooth. Need to go up to Q Max(~$200) or down to V Max(~$100) to get true 2.4ghz wireless. It's hard to compare this logitech to most keychron keyboards to this one due to the optical switches, but in terms of quality of materials involved...

Intel Outlines New Financial Reporting Structure

It's a good way to try and garner sympathy for the Chips Act money they got. They can now say "Look, our foundry business runs at a loss, so we need that 8 billion dollars.", ignoring that it's designed that way by producing their own chips at cost, not for profit. We'll probably see the...

be quiet! Shadow Base 800 FX

What more do you want? I prefer the neutral aesthetic of Be Quiet cases and their focus on silence and functionality, and continue to use actual dust filters. The only Be Quiet case I actually dislike is the Pure Base 500FX/DX in terms of aesthetics. This case is one of the more silent cases...

AMD Debuts Ryzen 7 8700F & Ryzen 5 8400F SKUs at Beijing AI PC Summit

Old AMD platform costing less than the new AMD platform isn't a surprise(Also, cheapest AM4 board is $60, not $50). The cheapest AM4 boards also aren't always enough for some CPU's(and this is just B550). If you're buying the absolute cheapest motherboard for a platform, you're probably not...

AMD Debuts Ryzen 7 8700F & Ryzen 5 8400F SKUs at Beijing AI PC Summit

The cheapest AM5 board on Pcpartspicker right now is $75, second is $80, with a few at $100. The cheapest LGA1700 is $70, and there's only 1, the rest are $90-100, but yes, there are more options. AM5 loses out on cost because bargain basement 2x8GB DDR4($30) is cheaper than bargain basement...

Intel Core i7-14700K Slides Down to $389

Where's the evidence? There is no video evidence in the one piece of evidence you provided. Why would I need actual video footage of one game, when I can refer to dozens of different reviews showing the 7800X3D being faster, or as fast as all Intel CPU's in the majority of games? Why do you...

Intel Core i7-14700K Slides Down to $389

You clearly don't understand the absurdity of your argument if you're arguing that screenshots, and even worse, screenshots without game settings of one game, as the superiority of Intel chips in gaming. There's nothing to argue here, you're just wrong, and it's not worth discussing if that is...

Intel Core i7-14700K Slides Down to $389

Great. Just so I understand: You're taking anecdotal evidence, of one game(that had issues with Ryzen processors to begin with) to support your statement of the Intel having the superior gaming CPU, regardless of the evidence of practically every single review site & youtube review channel...

Intel Core i7-14700K Slides Down to $389

I'm confused. So, you're saying the X3D chips are slower than Intel chips by taking one guy's experience on the forum, instead of the actual benchmarking results by the site we're on?

Intel Core i7-14700K Slides Down to $389

Don't know what you're doing wrong, considering TPU's numbers show the 7800X3D light years ahead of even the new 14900KS in Cyberpunk at 720p, 1080p & 1440p. Unless of course, you're just using 4k numbers, in which case a 'win' is within the margin of error, and not really a win at all.

Intel Core i7-14700K Slides Down to $389

Some people play at 1440p for high FPS. The 7800X3D is 10% faster in this case. Some people play in Ultrawide resolutions that fall between 1440p & 4k, which might show a CPU bottleneck. Some people are going to upgrade to something more powerful than a 4090 in the future, in which case, the...
