I think you can but you're gonna lost memory bandwith on the gtx 480 like me

test with gtx470 + gtx 560... some issue but i can use sli only prob is that my memory bandwith for the gtx 470 fall down from 320 bit to 256 bit (133 gb/s to 107 Gb/s), and i've lost 200Mb of memory... normally i have 2 gtx 470 but one run really hot when playing... Can you update driver...
