Same thing to me the new version (v2.12.0) bsod my PC: Xeon E5 2690v2, 64GB, nVidia GF-GTX1080Ti and nVidia GF-GT640 (2GB).
The previous version (v2.11.0) works perfectly.

YES this "new build" fixes the problem that I have with my ATi Radeon 7990 and ATi R9-295x2: when GPU-Z is monitoring the 2nd GPU (crossfired) and this GPU is in ULPS mode.
With the latest GPU-Z 0.7.9 you have changed the Phys-X detection algorithm but for hybrid Phys-X users the way you have implemented the "detection" won't display the correct value (enabled) even if the Phys-X is clearly functioning (see the screenshot for reference).
