That's a great idea. Kind of just like the fan controler that goes up depending on the current temperature, it could either clock down if it got much too hot, or just give you a little warning bell.

Yep, the silencers can be a bit akward to put on, since it encompases the entire card and touches all the ram (with some gel on each one), but you sound like you know what you are doing so it shouldn't be a problem.

Just give us the option in the temperature monitoring tab to set a warning alarm if the card reaches a certain temp. This way if we are playing a game and for some reason the card is heating up more than usual, we can hear a charm or alarm or somethign to let us know. If this is already...

I might not remember right Christer, but don't you have to use flashrom -p etc, and not atiflash -p etc etc? Since it's the modified flashrom.

Hm I haven't seen that on my sapphire x800...but I hit an artifact around 540 core and it stayed there for about 7 minutes.... I have the 16 pipes unlocked and an arctic silencer 4 cooling it.

Yeah it slowly works its way up until it finds artifacts, and then it goes back down to the safest spot. You have to watch it over a few hours and see what it does, then use the points at which it found artifacts and whatnot to decide where you want to clock.

AtiTool seems to think my "Temperature 3" is -41...and as much as I wish it really was, I don't think this is right :) SO what does temperature 3 stand for? I'm using an Asus P4c800 DLX mobo, and have Atitool set on asus p4x800-E deluxe. Also, it says my fan outputs are 15%, what does that mean?

Great...I want to get something, but I just realized that heavy duty thermaltake heatsink + 2 fan cooler won't fit in my case because I have these 2 fans on a bracket on the window side, so the top turbo fan would probably be hitting the glass...ah well, maybe I'll get an Ati arctic silent 4 one.
