Yeah it does appear that way. Would be nice if the average calculation was rolling, and you could adjust the period. Or maybe I need something that logs the temperature and gives alerts if the temp is too high for some period of time.

when "average" is selected for the temperature in the system tray, what period (length of time) is Realtemp using to make that average calcultion? Is it the past 10 seconds, 20 seconds, minute, 24 hours? I like having it show a relatively stable temperature instead of jumping around so much...
