    6950 TriFire? Eyefinity?

Hi cadaveca, I read this behavior in various forums where the second card in Crossfire (not Trifire) locked in UVD, overclocked or not. They fixed it with different version Catalyst and removing Afterburner (not sure how Afterburner related to this). I didn't to bookmark the sites otherwise...

    6950 TriFire? Eyefinity?

I don't think PCIe 2.0 cards will have advantage of the X79 PCIe 3.0 lanes. The real performance boost is the 2011 CPU over 1155 but real test results should be interesting.

    6950 TriFire? Eyefinity?

I am reading from cell phone all I can see is text. I might have missed more infos on screenshot posted. I didn't know OP is a reviewer. Oh well, he must know more than me. The first time I heard unable to adjust clocks for non reference card mixed with reference cards. Disabling ULPS is to...

    6950 TriFire? Eyefinity?

There shouldn't be a problem to adjust clocks for the third card, reference or not. Something is going on. Could be throttling by overheating or power issue. Unistall Catalyst and OC software then reinstall might help to eliminate drvers related. Has to disable ULPS every drivers installation...

Need someone to make me a 6990 bios

Boot using BIOS #2, after going into Windows, flip the switch to #1 then flash with original stock Master and Slave BIOS or you can use the edited 1.250V. That's the easiest way but will need to use ATIwinflash instead of ATIflash.

Need someone to make me a 6990 bios

As posted in the above post, there's no way to edit clocks in BIOS for 6900 series without BSOD/crash because of Driver-BIOS check. The driver will only allow you to edit the voltage in BIOS.

Need someone to make me a 6990 bios

Start with 1.250V for Master and Slave. Maintain temps under 75 °C. If you can keep the temps cool then move to 1.275V. I wouldn't use 1.300V on stock cooler. Prior to flashing, uninstall Catalyst to avoid possible conflicts BIOS-Driver-Registry check. Note again, only flash BIOS in switch #1.

Need someone to make me a 6990 bios

Edited to 1.250v, 1.275v and 1.300v for Master and Slave respectively. Note: only flash the BIOS in switch #1

Need someone to make me a 6990 bios

Yes. Switch #1 Flashable AUSUM BIOS 880/1250 MHz @ 1.175V (approx TDP 450W). Switch #2 Stock BIOS 830/1250 MHz @1.12V (approx TDP 300W).

Need someone to make me a 6990 bios

You can use GPU-Z to copy the first BIOS is the Master then select second GPU from the drop down is Slave. Master BIOS has a fan profile while Slave doesn't. That's the other way to identify it.

Need someone to make me a 6990 bios

For the 6900 series card, it's not possible to mess the clocks other than the BIOS voltage (VID4 - in GPU voltage register). I wouldn't suggest to flash it. Back in the days, we modified the BIOS voltage because using third party softwares to overclock will interfere with the PowerTune +20% and...

    problem with catalyst_mobility_64-bit_util

For Radeon mobility driver update is best to download from the manufacture's website. Auto update never worked if the driver requirement is from manufacturer. This is the driver for Mobility 4xxx series from AMD http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonmob_win7-64.aspx It...
