Oh is it the rivet gun? That thing sucks. They made the assault rifle badass. including making it's secondary fire a grenade launcher. I just upgraded the plasma cutter all the way to the end so it actually cuts through AND incinerates mobs. :rockout::rockout::rockout:

I'm interested to see how this turns out, but I doubt I'll pay the full price just to check it out. Probably wait awhile till the price drops, etc.

The one's pretty good. The fighting is decent. TBH it's a bit awkward, but the amount of stuff you can do in game is pretty impressive. I never finished it though.. lost my save files. Got to the 2nd area with the massive market area and huge castle, etc.

Please don't turn this into a derivative "KB/M > pad" thread. Most you guys miss the point. The AI was leaps and bounds better than any FPS before it. That and the system linked 16 player games were the console noobs version of a LAN party. It's multiplayer was then, and all it's iterations...

I've had 2 consoles in my hands that were dead from RROD. X-Clamp fixed both and I've not had either die on me yet.1st one I fixed like 6 months ago, the 2nd about 3 months ago. The kits cost maybe $2 or $3 on ebay and it only take about an hour to do. Worth a shot IMO, otherwise I can take it...

Thanks for this. I actually just picked up the Doom pack sale @ Steam a few weeks ago and have been playing this quite a bit. There is Classic Doom conversion has been fucking amazing so far.... :rockout:
