scaling is not very good. so Im guessing these cards should only be used on an eyefinity setup of 1680*1050 monitors or higher.

isn't that as much power as the GTX 295? and this should be as fast as a GTX 295, so....Nvidia is justified to do so? but really. that much power, and that much heat, and that much possible price, why is nvidia even bothering with it?

Why do SSDs cost that much anyway? It's just silicon, copper and a gram of gold somewhere. silicon and copper and a gram of gold shouldn't cost $700(referring to th 256gb SSDs.) Yeah, I know the process and it being a new tech factors a lot in it, but $700 for 256GB is just absurd.

whats the point of letting the card suck 450+ watts when a 1.4v or more has the risk of killing the GPUs. And, remember the MARS? those reached 100+ c. Also, 4GB of vram for what? its not a workstation card.

so I need to get a generator just for it? cause Ill do it. But, an x2 version would be nicer. 4 GPUs, AND a crossfire bridge, I mean all that is needed is another PCB and some sort of cooler that can cool 4 GPUs. 8 in octafire. gives me goosebumps, but that maybe because im a little...

Hey Wiz, why did you say that that card reached 1GHz without moding like other cards? I thought all the 58xx and 57xx series card come with voltage control through things like MSI Afterburner and such.

this is sort of a stupid question, but what does memory speed and timing do to the overall performance? giving you can afford these sticks, then you have an i7 920 ATLEAST.

4850 x2 says hi! and this dual 250 card wont out perfom a 5850 (dx11) which it should be priced near 5850(it=250s). and by the time this comes out, the 5850 should drop to at least $250 anyway. seems a bit too late now.
