Frequent display driver crashes and MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD

Well an update, decided to fiddle around with the ram sticks. Pulled them both out and stuck one in a different colored slot and left the other out. Ran prime95 blend test and it ran 20 minutes on all workers, not a single one died and they all completed 1 or two tasks. Shut down then plugged...

Frequent display driver crashes and MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD

Not sure how that post makes you think I should return the 580 even more. Also handing in pc to shop would probably mean I'm without a pc for like a month, miss out on my return periods and will probably end up with a few hundred euro bill at the end of it Seller just got back to me and said he...

Frequent display driver crashes and MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD

if I put my R9 270x in, it doesn't boot. Hangs on third VGA light. But it works fine on my old system. see this older thread I made here I bought this GPU because the 270x didn't boot at all I have an even older zotac GTX470 which did boot, but I replaced it with the r9 270x in my old system...

Frequent display driver crashes and MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD

How certain are you it's due to the GPU? Amazon's "easy 30 day return" period ends in 9 days for the ram cpu and motherboard, so I probably won't have time to return any other parts in this time if I return the GPU and buy a new one to test. as I contacted the seller the day about the problems...

Frequent display driver crashes and MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD

I did four passes before I made this thread, no problems. same with the shittier version that comes with windows itself. Set it to 1.3V right now with XMP still enabled, if I understood my bios manual correctly it'll still be 1.2V. If that's the case I'll try to set the timings and speed...

Frequent display driver crashes and MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD

During blend, on the first test, worker #5 #6 #9 #10 & #12 had "FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4 Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file, torture test completed 0 tests in 1 minute 1 errors 0 warnings" Stopped it after seeing this and a minute or two after that...

since furmark ran for like 7 min no issues it couldn't have been a simple GPU load error either, no? I'm getting kind of confused

I mean would there even be a point to x264 if I ran heaven benchmark? I imagine that stresses GPU CPU and RAM

Frequent display driver crashes and MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD

I can't seem to access mega.nz due to some security hazard or whatnot. Had the same on my laptop. Thus I can't get the "package" as he describes it.

Frequent display driver crashes and MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD

guessing this is it? just making sure, might do a few laps with this tomorrow as well Okay this is strange, I did a clean install of windows 7, motherboard disk drivers again, newest AMD driver again, fortnite again, launched it, very colorful corruption then crash. As usual I check the event...

but won't a too low voltage prevent it from booting at all?

Frequent display driver crashes and MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD

do you really think there's a plausible chance this will fix the problem or is just a "it might work so might as well try it" thing? Either way I'd rather go with some safer options first. No but I can change them in another tab. However it states in the manual "When using a non-XMP memory...

Frequent display driver crashes and MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD

Not sure why you don't believe me but here. I even had to do the upgrade setup part in windows 7 itself a second time because the first didn't work for some reason No I'll try XMP with +0.1V on memory now I guess If I turn on XMP apparently it'll use the XMP's voltage, and not the voltage I...

Frequent display driver crashes and MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD

Did you see the images of HWmonitor I posted a bit higher? When I put XMP on profile 1 in the BIOS, without applying it, it seems to only increase the ram timing, not the ram voltage or any of the other voltages. Also the voltage settings seem to use deltas rather than absolutes, so I'm...
