The below mentioned power connector is part of the ATX 2.0 spec, so when you get a PSU, just make sure it is ATX 2.0 spec, don't just go by the power rating.
Keep the 2 @ x1950pro. X-Fire is not so buggy with the x1950pro. You don't need to buy a separate master card for X-Fire to work. You also don't need a pass thru cable, it uses a similar bridge to what NVIDIA use with their SLI setup.
The X2900XTX is a massive card, from the few pics I've seen on various websites, it reminds me of the old full size AT cards of yester-year. Massive units that slotted in to support braces incorporated in the chassis to stop them from bending coming loose.
These would have to be targeted...
Your airflow looks good to me. You may not need to do anything to your system, except maybe the 120mm fan upgrade. The Noctua fans look good and are extremely efficient, and the best thing is they are almost silent.
Looks good to me mate. I've got that setup right now in one of my HTPC setups, and it works very well. You may have to leave 1 or 2 additional slots space between the video card and the extractor.
