    Slot boards need a CPU. Be advised, boards of this era generally need caps replaced, so that may be an issue down the road for you.

    FX has worse single thread performance than the Athlon you're on now. Need to go with a cheap Intel chip to get better.

    Depends on the board you're on. Need bclk and voltage adjustment. I got 525 on stock voltage and stock cooling on a dual board.
