changing to faster ram and file system.

hello forum, as the price of DDR4 has come down a lot i was thinking of changing my ram from the 3200mhz kit to a faster 4266 kit. also thinking about my file system and changing from a single ssd to a raid of much faster ssd's. any idea what performance increase it would...

    new gpu = less FPS

you need to enable resizable bar and above 4G in bios to get the SAM to work.

How do i get my CPU down in temperatures ?

take the case side off and put a desk fan facing in the case, if the temp of 118c does not change , then the temps sensor is not being read right or is not working.

    1080 Radiator Performance

thought about mounting it on top of your case ? i have my radiator mounted on the top of the case by using an old dead fan, you could use live fans. i think with that size rad, two fans to mount would be better and put your cooling fans in pull config. the tube runs would be also something to...

have you cleaned you pc's heat sinks out please? temps might be ok, but if you got gunk in your heatsinks its not cooling properly.

been playing the Fallout 76, i put it on ultra as it should do and im running it at 4k, without changing anything i get a massive 39fps average. im using a AMD™ Ryzen 3800XT and a AMD™ Sapphire™ 7900XTX Nitro<. i feel blown away by this performance. anyone else an amazing performance too?

    Thermal paste idea

Hello Forum, i work with epoxy a lot and we use heat to lower the viscosity of the glues to make them flow better and as im using it as a coating, thinner is better. i just thought of using heat to lower the viscosity of thermal paste to improve the application. not dont it...

hello Club, im having no luck getting anything out of the AMD™ Sapphire™ Radeon RX7900XTX nitro+. i am having lots of no display output problems. are you having the same issue please? using display port 1.4 lead to cheapest 4k monitor (28"@ £180) thought of a plan for next time i do a...

micro fin center but more like a pool than a channel. didn't really look and now its in the machine. bad news is the memory junction temp and the hot spot temps didn't change much, save about 5c in that area. i assume it just that hot. the package temp is down in the 41c.

using the GPU fan header for temperatures

hello, i was told i could use the fan header on the gpu to control the fans, which is a nice idea as i think its the hotest thing in the loop. i use my motherboard fan headers for my PWM fans. using a older MSI™ X370 gaming carbon pro (i brought an updated cpu for it, before support for...

Radeon extremely low market share, only 8% in Q3 2022?

its all because they stopped supporting AMD™ Crossfire™ technology. if it was still used and the games supported it they would have doubled there profits. 2x AMD™ Radeon RX7900xt's compare to a Nvidia™ RTX 4090? but mostly its gotta be the ridiculous prices :toast:
