Just an update, recently got my warranty claim fulfilled and got a new card, no issues whatsoever like before! On one hand I'm so pleased but on other it sucks I had to do all this research to be sure (and not even 100%) they'll accept it in the end but oh well :)

Well I just did OCCT test for half an hour and temperature was 90-95 degrees Celsius.. If that's not bad I don't know what is. Also during CPU test my i5 3570k was under heavy load at ~70 temp, OCed from 3.4 to 3.8, is that a lot?

Just noticed my 7970 goes to 80c with fan on 80+% (due to fan curve in afterburner), this isn't right? This seems very excessive plus flicker problem, is it bad after all? Was playing a game so not idle.
