AMD "Strix Halo" Zen 5 Mobile Processor Pictured: Chiplet-based, Uses 256-bit LPDDR5X

It is much harder to create the hardware. Only 2 companies in the world can do it and bring a product to market (AMD and Intel). So generally the hardware has to come before the widespread usage in software. Nobody is gong to put much effort into creating software when there is no market/users...

MSI Readies ATX12VO-ready AMD Socket AM5 Motherboard, and its First ATX12VO PSU

If this conversion would stay in the PSU, it would be reused every time I upgrade my motherboard. Now I will have to pay for it again every time I upgrade my motherboard. Since motherboards become obsolete much more frequently, e-waste and total expenditure is increased. Regarding your points -...

Intel Core i9-14900K Raptor Lake Tested at Power Limits Down to 35 W

    Anandtech got 49.3% of Cinebench R23 MT performance with the 7950X @ 35W vs 30.6% for the 13900k Here we see 14900K get 30.7%. @65W the values are (7950X vs 13900K vs 14900K) 81.1% vs 56.6% vs 56.2%

    Phison E18 + Micron 176-Layer NAND Preview

I was actually wondering how the random access speed of the drive as a whole compares to RAM technology. Looking at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_interface_bit_rates Perhaps sequential speed is at DDR2-667 and random at 1000th of PC-66 SDR SDRAM.

    Phison E18 + Micron 176-Layer NAND Preview

That can't be right even for sequential. This drives averages 5500MB/s DDR4 2666 is 21333.33. DDR4 2666 is 2666.67 MT/s this drive is 65312 IOPS. If these are comparable units then this DRAM is still over 40000000 times faster?

At what DRAM speed and gen are we with this drive (random access perf)?

Intel to Outsource Entry-level CPU and Chipset Fabrication to TSMC

Don't know where the demand is coming from, since the PC market overall has been stagnant and if anything, Intel has lost some marketshare to AMD. No Growth in Sight for Stagnant PC Market

Is is a myth that NVIDIA cards have a lower chance of dying?

http://www.hardware.fr/articles/947-5/cartes-graphiques.html Miners distort the real picture, with their unusually stressful usage.

100% Disk Usage on my SSD while doing low-intensive work.

Try a windows SSD optimize run. Maybe there were some deletions done without TRIM.

Advice For People wishing to update to Windows 10 Redstone

Had the exact same problem with my C300 SSD. Tried many things, but the thing that probably solved it for me, was running optimize on the drive (in the windows optimize drives dialog). I think that trim is not enabled when windows did the updates.

ViewSonic Intros a Pair of 25-inch IPS Monitors for the Health Conscious

Yes. AMOLED is completely different, there is no such backlight blocking going on. Imho AMOLED monitors are mostly needed for movies and games. Till these monitors arrive, Occulus VR is a good alternative since it has AMOLED screens. Occulus VR may even be better than an AMOLED monitor in...
