AMD announced improved h264 encoding, anti-lag 2 picking up traction... not looking for GPU rn but next cycle will definitely consider it, especially as they're likely to offer better VRAM and pricing in one go.
On the other hand, this no doubt will force nvidia to not inflate their GPU price as...
The DP2.1 might be the deciding factor for those who care, since it is a coin toss whether the DSC implementation induce lag, and these monitors are too expensive to be a coin toss.
But then again, the real deciding factor for most people is that glowing ROG eye.
IMO its more "fanciful" than other PSUs but not so fanciful enough to be a strong selling point.
Would be cool if they made a PSU-Case combo where there are external-facing USB A and C ports that are PD-enabled.
But that could be a mobo maker's job.
If you don't have few million USDs of annual income, that should just be worse.
Tariff disproportionately impact low income earners while having about zero effect on wealthy. It also hides the fact that we pay for government as a service and reduces political participation.
this would be a nice display if it match xg27aqmr response time, or at least much much faster than xg27acs.
Still, pricing is the key concern if this is priced too close to 26.5'' 240hz OLEDs. This has to be fairly cheap to make sense but I'm not sure if they have the volume to drop the price...
Niveus media was (perhaps, i don't know, its being a long time since i watched that video) overpriced but had comprehensible use cases.
This thing...is a rage bait for sane people and personality supplement for the insane.
I meant the amount of half hate (which is deserved all things considered) half mocking posts, which is a lot of bitterness.
I am not at all opposed to mocking intel. And that post was old technology, intel has had much meme materials since then (anyone watching gn would have couple ideas)
there was much intel-mocking in that post's comment section, but also someone pointing out the unique considerations given broadcomm's requirements.
I think theres no fun to kick someone while they're down. and this effect stacks multiplicatively. Disclosure I own shares of INTC so holding the...
OLED probably not overclockable. I'd imagine the panel itself also has some driving logic that don't go beyond panel manufacturer's design. Otherwise people would do it, OLED response time would give almost linear motion clarity improvement (probably).
to me 1440p feels more like a 1080p+...
or you could just buy the older and now cheaper model since the new bigger and better number is actively used to funnel higher amount of money out of your wallet.
higher is not universally better, but there are already many metrics which can be more specific in addressing specific wants...
mfs on 120-240hz LCDs arguing with 100% confidence that most people can't see past 100hz is something special.
The motion clarity difference is insane on 60-90-120hz oled screens (not just scrolling test [on same touch sample rate] but actual high fps video).
But dropping ad hominem after they...
not bearing the aorus branding, named similarly to the well known m27q... I hope this signals a trend of OLED normalization and with price reduction to show for it.
