R5 3600 + PBO need opinion on my settings

I think all thats left to do is fine tuning some settings here and there. Maybe you could try bumping the CPU Load Line Calibration to Medium, a 65w part won't need a lot, it will help you keep sustained clocks for longer. (I'd advise to stay away from highest level of LLC though) After...

R5 3600 + PBO need opinion on my settings

Hello, I happen to have a overclocked r7 3700x with PBO that clocks up to 4,5Ghz on 2-core workloads. As I first thought, increasing max frequency of PBO doesn't necessarily helps if your CPU has not very good ASIC quality. (silicon quality) Think of it as a curve, the less max MHZ you ask, the...

HyperX Expands Console Gaming Headset Lineup with Cloud Stinger 2 for Consoles

What's the use of having two different SKU, since both are basically the same? As both have an jack 3.5mm plug, it should be analogic then then internals are most likely the same. I fail to comprehend why won't they roll out an universal version (as it should since its analogic, and it doesn't...

AMD Reportedly Prepping Special Radeon RX 7900 GRE Model for Chinese Market

It reminds me of my Radeon HD 7870XT which should have been named HD 7930. Same trick here with bus width too.

Kingston Brings XS1000 External SSD and Non-Binary DDR5 to Computex 2023

That would be RAM kits of 24gb, 48gb and 96gb. Binary kits would be regular sizes like 16gb, 32gb, 64gb etc.. Installing such kits require a BIOS update for most motherboards. I agree that the naming is confusing though

    ID-Cooling Dashflow 360 XT AIO

Is this an Asetek pump + block combo or in-house made ? If I recall correctly Asetek patented this kind of pump integration into the waterblock.

Arctic Rolls Out the P12 MAX Case Fan

I need a 140mm version of this because I ain't buying noctua's NF-a14 3000 at 35€ for a single fan.. At least arctic pricing makes sense

AMD's Upcoming Mobile Rembrandt APU Makes an Early Appearance

Let's hope for a proper Dual graphics support. If so, having a full amd ecosystem would be a huge perk as the iGPU will be used for lighter loads and the discrete GPU will back it up with horsepower when needed. Intel iGPU + Nvidia GPU can switch between them depending on the load but cannot...

    AMD Posts November Investor Presentation

A stripped down Zen4 core to make it smaller, denser and more efficient. AMD take on big.LITTLE design. Consumer products might include both Zen4 and Zen4c in a similar way to Intel 12th gen. There will probably one, or several full Zen4c chip(s) for servers for heavy multithreaded tasks. Edit...

    AMD Posts November Investor Presentation

Wow almost 1 GB of GAMECACHE, this puppy really must run crysis like no other! :) /sarcasm off The Zen4c confirms what "Moore law is dead" has been leaking 2 weeks earlier.

GIGABYTE Launches AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT Series Graphics Cards

Is it me or the Gaming OC Pro variant lack the heatpipes ? Anyways 3 fans designs are really overkill for a sub 200w Gpu and it definitely won't fit all cases. I'll be waiting for the Turbo OC Pro Gaming Workstation... or whatever dumb naming they come up with.

AMD Zen 4 Desktop Processors Likely Limited to 16 Cores, 170 W TDP

Zen 4 with "3D V-cache" will improve performance by 20 to 30 percents. Maybe more thanks to the TDP lift. Stronger single-core performance is more versatile than having a load of weaker cores that only performs well in compute scenarios.

NVIDIA Launches A100 PCIe-Based Accelerator with 80 GB HBM2E Memory

Nvidia cut down 1/4 of the GA100 cuda cores, the yield at TSMC must be really bad with these large chips. Also it's now made by TSMC again and not Samsung like on the RTX 3xxx. I wonder if how much more efficient is TSMC 7nm.
