Samsung Electronics and Red Hat Partnership to Lead Expansion of CXL Memory Ecosystem with Key Milestone

IBM/Redhat may be the money grubbing head but in reality it will be Fedora Linux and Debian implementing CXL along with ALL the Kernel Dev's. Another case of corporate trying to steal glory from the dedicated FOSS developers. Samsung and IBM may contribute some funding to it, but in OSS, funding...

Corsair MP600 Micro M.2-2242 SSD Pictured

I know this and and can't wait until higher speed and cheaper NVMe's are available in cameras. I also kind of feel we don't need to discuss this any further. CF express cards are still rip-offs for what they do.

Maybe this will help you, "Cards are Cheating the System". P.S. I care. I value my $$$ and speed. https://petapixel.com/2023/12/08/sony-photographers-need-to-be-careful-what-memory-cards-they-buy/

Corsair MP600 Micro M.2-2242 SSD Pictured

$$$ CFx over cheap SSD - you believe what you will. Most will choose the less expensive, faster newer option. P.S. The NVMe can be repurposed inside many device types. The CFx is mostly not used outside of cameras.

GALAX GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Max 16 GB Unparalleled Max is the First Single-Slot RTX 40 Series GPU

...and more importantly use less space. Equally important, while the rest of the industry seeks to minimize or shrink for many reasons, the gpu market is suffering from the jacked-up pick'em'up truck syndrome, not unlike penis envy.

Big Winner here and likely largest consumer here is the camera market for fast burstable storage during shooting, inside the camera.

GALAX GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Max 16 GB Unparalleled Max is the First Single-Slot RTX 40 Series GPU

I hope they do. This is honestly closer to where GPU's should be both in terms of max power and size. 16GB is perfect and no need for 8GB. Just my opinion; I also know everyone wants MOAR WATTS lol, but I pay the electric bills at my house and would much rather have this. Come on AMD pay...

Microsoft Outlook "2024" Set to Replace Mail, Calendar & People Apps

I don't trust Microsoft or Office 365 at all & won't touch the new apps with a 10 foot pole. I applaud everyone that is letting Microsoft have a peak at your items, especially after their big AI push. Good luck!

    AMD Ryzen 9 7900

lol I practice Self-Custody of Private Keys and Passwords and it ABSOLUTELY matters. I believe in Self-Determination and will refuse government & corporate control of my Full ID in device. You may carry on with your stance and enjoy your forced compliance and payments.

    AMD Ryzen 9 7900

I haven't seen any mentions of Microsoft Pluton Security Processor in Ryzen 6000 & 7000 cpu's as well as Qualcomm CPU's. It is actually a shame they are NO BUY for me. I could go on for for hours about self-determination, privacy and private key self-custody and storage, but looks like no on...

AMD to Release Threadripper 7000 and TR5 Platform in the Second Half of 2023

I'm skipping ALL the AMD Ryzen 6000, 7000 & Epyc's with builtin Microsoft Pluton Security Processor. Collects all your GPG, SSH private keys with their p/w's and ALL passwords and is completely readable and updatable by Microsoft at any time you have network capability. They purposely have a...

EU Pauses Investigation Into NVIDIA's ARM Acquisition as They Await Further Information

Haha, laughing agreed to not selling it to them. #GREED is the real reason they should #NEVER-EVER get ARM. Even China should get ARM befor nVIDIA. Seriously dude. I'm sick of them and miners propogating all these high prices. May the lot of them burn in HELL!
