Dam after readed many ithers review, it sad that yours was not able to be stable with 8000MHz ram & OC, here from french website review 9800X3D 5500MHz + DD5 8000MHz CL32 !!
@W1zzard I think your sample is bad, because in 1 hour Der8auer acheived 5.6GHz easy without optimisation on is CPU for the OC section. Maybe somethings was wrong if 5.3GHz was not stable alteady
@W1zzard F*cking amazing !! Nice that a great review, added that "DDR5-6200 UCLK 1:1 CL28 in this review (red bar)" make your review more unique from all others, big for have included a setting easy & faster that many can acheive.
Why the 14900KS is not included ?? Not normal ast flagship to be missing ... with all that intel micro code update, it would hace been important to know where that chip is at now.
Yes but if nobody test we will never know if the gain is good enough for take the time to tune . Having that 2 Ram setup I talked, can help many to decide if they will start for the first time to OC their memory or not. But without knowing if it's worth it .... yeah few people will start do it...
Excellent Review waited that since a long time ! But 2 important Ram setup missing. Like I said in anothers Ram review @W1zzard
+ Many on Overclock.net are in the 8000MHz CL36CL to 32. 38 is just stock wirst possible. Having a test at the middle CL34 would have been great or if you can add it...
What you do you talking about ??? It just the max frequency you cannot use more then 8200MHZ but you can do alot about pushing timing from 6000MHz to 6400MHz rare case 6600MHz & 8000MHz to 8200MHz
Yes but that one CL32 for 7200MHz was a more agressive kit then those CL34, wanted to know what you can do with it . For the G.skill 6000MHz CL28, do you will review it ? Hope you grab one, some people have acheived 6GHz all core on the good CCD. Can make review 8000MHz/8200MHz CL36 to on it
To bad you was not able to make a AMD Overclocking page like you did for Intel. Hope to see soon one with agressive timing we already talked about before like 6200 / 2066 . 9950X with the new Windows 24H22 + AGESA 1.2.0.2 Update Fixing Ryzen 9000 Inter-Core Latency issue.
Will have liked the test on AMD with 8000MHz Cas 34 & 6200mhz CL26 if it was possible to make it stable with that kit. 2X16GB is to short now 48GB look just ok not to much.
