The 5700x is way too expensive. I can stretch it for the 5600. My ram is: G.Skill F4-3200C16D-16GVKB Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-3200MHz CL16 1.35V Black Desktop Memory.

I plan on staying with the motherboard I have now and I play most games at high settings at 1080p 60fps. Would paying the extra money be worth it in terms of maintaining 60fps with high 1%lows?

Hi all. I've just sold my old CPU and am currently saving up for a new one. The motherboard CPU socket is exposed but it's still in my case. Will the socket be damaged in any way if I just leave it like that or should I cover it with something anti-static?

Oh so what's the best option here keep the board with this chip for longer or risk it by selling the 1600AF and hoping when I get the 5600 it'll post?

It says later It says the 5600 is supported by the latest beta bios I can't find the beta bios but I've installed the latest one.

So does this mean I can now run a ryzen 5 5600? I have updated to the latest bios.

I actually never tried to overclock with this board is it even possible if so that would extend the gaming life of the CPU abit.

Hi all I have an msi a320m pro max motherboard and I'd like to update the bios but do I need to go through all the previous versions first before I do the latest one or can I just install the latest version? CPU is ryzen 5 1600AF. I've never updated a bios before.
