Okay here's an update on my current situation.
1. On the subject of onboard audio, I've ordered the Z890 Tomahawk, so I was right about the ALC1220. It is what it is for now.
2. Regarding the speakers I have placed the order for the R1700BTs.
During this time I found some other options that...
I have nothing against eccentric embellishments, but I feel there should be a certain order to how things are done, in a professional manner of course.
Therefore a second connector should be present, not only would it represent higher quality & more reliability but also status, because the...
Man, ASUS has no idea what kind of features make a premium GPU more valuable than an ordinary one.
So far they tried the option of putting the signature of a very disliked person on one of these. As if that would entice someone to pay more for it.
Then the gold-plated option... wow talk about...
Yes AMD pulled a fast one, but I was referring to the official reveal, and the "prices starting at $xxx" part.
The market eventually adjusted the two 9070 cards higher, probably to where AMD originally intended, but performance was the primary factor (which then influenced demand), if the 9070...
The maximum reasonable MSRP for this, in this current context, is $450.
If it's somehow $500, AMD might as well sell it in a miniature casket instead of a cardboard box.
Anyway to put it at $500 is an incredibly risky gamble for AMD, as it would represent a double upsell.
First to upsell the...
I guess I should cancel yesterday's order for 265K (336 euros) then.
It's very interesting that Intel adjusted the chip with the best value from the lineup.
Now it makes it a no-brainer against 7900X, 9900X and 7950X. Also 14700K.
It absolutely murders the competition. :nutkick:
The 245K and...
Probably a good amount of people were expecting SN950X -> meaning predictable = boring. So WD spiced it up and avoided being branded a boring company making boring products.
However by adopting the formatting chosen by Samsung they ended up with a lower number, and that gives off the wrong vibe...
Goes to show ASUS doesn't know how to make proper halo products.
1. They should've used a 5090, anything else is for peasants.
2. The GPU should be sold inside a briefcase, cardboard boxes are for peasants.
3. Inside the briefcase there should be other accessories, a safe bet would be a...
@Todestrieb
Thanks.
Yes I've also read those reviews and arrived at about the same conclusions.
Each has its strengths (and weaknesses), for me specifically probably the ASUS is a better fit, as you said if in the end the monitor is good then being somewhat overpriced can be forgiven.
Assuming...
4K is actually incorrect as the horizontal resolution doesn't even reach 4000 pixels. The correct term is 2160p. It also uses the same format as 1080p and 1440p.
How is the performance difference between these two "profiles"?
From what you said I kinda get the feeling the performance is similar...
Hmm 6% faster than the 7900 GRE is very impressive for 1440p. Looking here the 5070 is 8% faster than the 7900 GRE at 1440p, the 4070 Super 4%, so the 9070 GRE would be in between those.
I'll take this with a large tablespoon of salt. I would guess the general benchmarked results when the card...
@ir_cow
Thank you for the reply.
Well the truth is that Samurai Shodown IV is no.1 for me, but GGX2 is so awesome that I will agree with you anyway. :D
@ir_cow
Since you're here, would you please answer the questions from this post if you have the time?
It seems that now they're of greater interest to me than when I've made the post.
Thank you.
Okay so to clarify something.
I am not totally against the idea of a 32" 2160p monitor, so I wasn't stubborn just for the sake of it, however I have some reasonable doubts and having these doubts when paying extra is not negligible for me.
Because as I showed in an example in post #14, making...
Then how do you explain the 4070 Ti Super replacing the 4070 Ti at the same MSRP?
The 4060 Ti 16GB has more VRAM than GPU muscle.
The 5060 Ti 16GB has more VRAM than GPU muscle.
The 4090 has more VRAM than GPU muscle.
The 5090 has more VRAM than GPU muscle.
Therefore nVidia must be retarded...
