Well it was supposed to be back up a while ago, but it came up, worked amazingly fast for about 5-10 min, then went down again. came back with the message "needs more cowbell" came online later, now down again. Sigh. I'm going through withdrawals here.

For what it is worth, my Visiontek 4870 would do this exact same thing when I would play BF:BC2 with the stock cooler (reference cooler) and my GPU was overclocked a tad bit. I would have to bump up the fan manually in the CCC and then it was fine. I'm not sure if my GPU or the VRMs were getting...

I don't know how well it works to run F@H on two different GPUs like that. I know the clients for whatever reason give trouble when using two different models of the same brand of card. I can only imagine the grief that would happen with trying on nVidia and ATI in the same machine :eek:

I'd not use radioshack ones. Probably not low ESR. I may have some, let me check. Another option is badcaps.net, I get my replacements from there for recapping stuff.

DVI vs VGA on my LCD is noticeable. Small, perhaps, but noticeable. More crisp with DVI.

The Corsair HX520 and HX620 are the only Seasonic-built Corsairs (but to Corsair's specs, you won't find a similar model straight from Seasonic). The TX line is all CWT (Channel Well). Why the CWT preference over Seasonic, out of curiosity? My bro had a rosewill PSU, it burned out his video...

For those curious, Yes the 400W smartpower can run a phenom 9600BE @ stock and the GTX260-216. Except that I can't play with the clocks too much, push it up too far, the PSU overheats, overloads and crashes the system :laugh: I picked up an Enhance 5150GH 500W 80+ PSU for dirt cheap so I'll be...

All AM3 chips have both (unless something changed). But a quick glance at AM2+ boards makes me say screw it just get the right board if I do it. Do it right the 1st time.
