I was just joking. I still use MBM for my hardware monitoring since my hardware was already supported when they stopped development on it. Plus, ATI Tool updates it w/my video card temps, so this works really well for me. (the hardware monitoring in the earlier ATITool builds also worked...

Why not use a tool like ReForce or RefreshFix to permanently change the refresh rates for various resolutions to whatever you want? That's why I did...

I had the same problem after replacing my 9800XT w/a x850XT PE. However, after checking the "use older more compatible scanning mode" checkbox, it works as expected. Try that.

I'm currently using the latest beta. I'm also using the very latest Creative drivers (which are Audigy2 ZS drivers, although I have an Audigy1). It's not that big a deal for me though. I haven't tested this w/any other games so there's really not enough for you to go on. I wouldn't worry...

Huh, yep it sure does. Sounds only cut out when temperature monitoring is enabled. Didn't realize that.

Temperature monitoring on. I have a Create Audigy1, but this also occured back when I still had my old Create Live as well. I attached a .reg file export so you can see my exact ATI Tool configuration in case it helps...

When ATITool is running, it causes the sound to cut out in the game JointOps. This has been the case since ATITool's inception, but I never bothered to report it because I always close everything possible before running games. Has anyone else noticed this as well?

Hmmm, my understanding of PCI Latency is just the opposite -- it is how long any given device is allowed to have exclusive use of the PCI bus.

That Powerstrip function is just there to re-overclock if needed when the card is reset to default clock frequencies after resuming from standby or hibernation, isn't it? The "smallest frequency step with the current divider" is exactly the way to fix it and works across the all the ATI...

Oh shoot, that's a good point. The 4.5 and higher divider applies to my 9800XT. The 9800XT default divider is 6.75, but I assume other ATI cards may have different default dividers and divider increments?

Yes, I tried almost every possible divider (using RadClocker) and everything 4.5 or higher no prob, but standby/resume prob w/anything less than 4.5. It's very annoying because the "invisibile divider" was one of the neat things about ATITool, where I choose the frequencies and then ATITool...

This is something new starting w/Catalyst 4.8 and higher and occurs when the clock divider is less than 4.5. Lock the reference divider to 4.5 and re-run ATITool to find your max's using 4.5 divider. Steve
