I don't think it really matters as long as the HDTV is a half-way decent HDTV with HDR,etc..most of these 2018/2019 4K HDTV's that are mid range and up do HDR and true 120hz, what people want and like is 4K resolution at 120Hz, and maintains your 4:4:4 subsampling and is still plenty smooth...
