The FX5200 would be an area that I would look into upgrading....I owned a 5200 late last year and while it held it's own...it will not handle the demands of newer games (call of duty 2 ) Nice budget build however!!!

Because the Config_Substrate_Fuse line does not have a F in the last position , unfortantly you can not unlock the 16 pipes with a bios flash , I have only been able to squeeze out 447 core and 579 Mem (even with an ATI Silencer 5 Rev 2). I also have seen post with the higher core clocks but...

Really like the layout and design...one small note , better routing of your cables and updating the ribbon to a round cable would have improved my overall rating.... Great Job and Nice Case

My desk has a bay for the tower but it is closed ....and gets just as warm....I live on the Central coast of CA so the house stays around 70 F ..... Also it is nice to see the case out in the open. Thanks for the inputs. Tazz

Hey Dolf and others ...I installed the ATI Silencer 5 Rev 2 on my X800 and ran ATI Tool to try and O/C the GPU further than the previous 444.....It was able to push out 447 and no more is that about all I can get out of the 430 core or do need to set the cooler to 100% then run ATI tools Max...

Just took my current system and installed some new cooling to aid with o/c the machine New parts::cool: Artic Cooling ATI Silencer 5 Rev 2 Thermaltake A1899 Extreme Spirit North and South bridge cooler and heat sinks Additional 80mm intake fan in front of case PC toys ATA 133 18/24 inch...

For your information: Dolf and others .....the new Sapphire X800 GTO with 256 Meg AGP has Ifenion (spelling) ram installed and a r430 (verified when changing out the cooler). This card had F's in all spots to unlock 16 pipes. So add it to the list of unlockables :toast:
