ye, think ill sell these as the read is worse than a single velociraptor, the write will be even worse! the other option is 2 get a fast ssd but i can only afford a 60gb 1, i have 2 many apps for that

Hi, im just looking for a new mobo that has a x16 crossfire link in dual mode and also has a ICH10R chip, as i have 2 4890's and 2 ssd in raid 0. i can not find a board that has this, my current board is the x48 chipset so i have the x16 dual link but only ICH9R. cheers

it happened again!!!!!!! this lunch time my pc froze and the card wouldnt work on restart. 10-11 hours later it is but from 12 - 10:30 i was very bored. any ideas? my new 4890 was shipped 2 day so ill confirm that its the card and not my mobo or psu then. grrr

yep, iv tryed both pci slots, no joy. i have bough another 4890 and just last night when installing new fans i powered on 2 test them and the card started working! i have no idea why this card just doesn't work some times (when arrived from ebay and after system crash) but its working now. hmmm...
