Reading these posts, am I the only one who can get the 2500 Barton up to an XP3200 @ 2.2ghz?

What temps are they? CPU, case or video card? How did it run before you put the arctic cooler on?

I've no idea, but as it will run at 230 out of the box, I probably won't oc the memory anyway. Might up the core a bit. I've read that it should do around 500, but I don't want to push my luck with Ebuyer if I break another one!!

Just as an update on my rather poor 9550 256Mb I contacted Ebuyer who I bought the card from and asked for an RMA as the card was not identical to the one that became faulty. They agreed to refund me, so I am going for a 9600 pro advantage. Haaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrr

You mortals wouldn't understand!! LOL All I meant was that before I went out and bought my new CPU, I read a lot of stuff, reviews, etc and found that the 2500 would go to 3200 no problem. I have made the mistake of buying stuff before checking out what I am buying before and regretted it...

Does your BIOS allow you to increase the fsb in small amounts? If so, try going up in small amounts until it gets to a temperature that you can tolerate. How much heat is too much heat? Is you rHSF good enough to take up to a XP3200+ ?
