How to Make Windows Not Detect ATI Card

I want the x1800 to keep using the ATI drivers, but I want the x300 to be able to use a custom driver. So long as Windows keeps autodetecting the x300, I am unable to force the custom driver on it. I need a way for Windows to "lose" the x300. I was under the impression that it was detecting...

How to Make Windows Not Detect ATI Card

Alright, I had a thread asking how to change the device ID as I thought that would be the best way for the ATI drivers not to find the card, but it looks like the idea wont work. So, instead let me just throw this question out there. I have two cards - a x1800XL (primary) and a x300SE. Both...

Change Device ID on ATI Card

Thats the problem. The ATI drivers will jump in and say "Oh look a x300 to install!" This is a second video card (primary is a x1800XL) so I cant just remove the drivers, hence the need for something different. I would think that flashrom or atiflash would have some switch to let me do this...

Change Device ID on ATI Card

Just using that as an extreme really. I dont want Windows to know its a x300 really. Like when you first install Windows and it knows its a display adapter but doesnt know which one. I need to be able to feed it a custom driver.

Change Device ID on ATI Card

Hello. I'm working on a small project to make a TV work with my system. I'm on to a method that looks promising. However, to proceed I need to change the device ID of my x300. I've used atiflash to change the subsys ID (the -mi switch) and RaBiT. RaBiT let me change the ID a little (from 5B60 to...

    X800 fuses data for unlocking

Could anyone who has an AGP x800GTO of any brand (preferably Sapphire) please post the PN at the top of the card as well as what core it has, and if it has modded OK? I have to chose between keeping the Sapphire x800GTO AGP I have or getting a x800GTO2 PCI-E (what I originally ordered)

X800 GTO² to X850 XT BIOS Mod

Indeed it does, except for the molex power connector and the extended PCB. The brown box it came in says x800GTO AGP on it, but whats confusing me is that a) no one sells a x800GTO AGP and b) my packing slip says x800GTO2 AGP

X800 GTO² to X850 XT BIOS Mod

Pics: Note that the PN on the card is 109-a49001-00, possibly indicating R423

X800 GTO² to X850 XT BIOS Mod

Already then. Ordered 3 of these cards from Atacom. PCI-E in the title, description, invoice. Got 3 cards today. Are they PCI-E? HECK NO! Instead I received 3 AGP cards which look identical (still sealed in bag) heatsink wise. However, it does have a molex power connector instead of the PEG. In...

X800 Pro VIVO to XT PE Bios Mod

I modded two AGP MSI x800 Pros some time ago and had no problems with the mod. Now I'm moving up to PCI-E so I bought the 100600SR x800 Pro Sapphire card from NewEgg ($231 after rebate). Today I flashed the only XT PE PCI-E BIOS in the collection (Asus) and guess what I have now? (see attached)...
