ASUS Unveils ROG Maximus, ROG Strix, TUF Gaming, Prime, and ProArt Z890 Motherboards

Asus, why do you keep gimping the white strix board? It's still weird to me why no board vendor takes white boards somewhat seriously, it's usually a gimped model or a top end one.

AMD Granite Ridge "Zen 5" Processor Annotated

Very interesting, seems like they optimized the die's very well this time. only problem is the aged and slow way they are connected. Why are the two dies so far from eachother when it would seem be faster and more efficient to be close... On TR/Epyc it's acceptable because of the heat and the...

AMD X870E and X870 Motherboards Have Been Released, Prices Start at $199 Up To $699

Hm, the X870 boards are priced like X670E despite far fewer PCIe lanes and a chipset less.. Overpriced refresh..

ASUS and AMD Announce Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Giveaway

Yup, they didn't even have a Strix AMD card this time. The weirdest thing is honestly how there always double the amount of Intel boards, despite AMD being more popular (just look at the 7800X3D).

MSI Teams Up With Blizzard for Limited Edition GeForce 4070 SUPER GAMING SLIM Graphics Card

That gold one looks a lot like the old lightning cards they had.. very nice! I quite like these slim cards, they aren't overly sized for those who want smaller cards. Too bad that the regular size doesnt seem to exist with these around.. Rather have both choices.

    NZXT H5 Flow RGB (2024)

Hm, not really it. The lack of IO, lack of backside connectors (though acceptable since it's very new) and lack of 360 support on top. The single frame fans are cool and look pleasing but a nightmare if one fan dies. I honestly prefer the Unifan/iCUE link system of connecting fans, much more...

    G.Skill Announces DDR5-6400 CL30 Low Latency DDR5 Memory

Suppose you'll have to get a good motherboard and be lucky with the MC on Ryzen 9000 to fully get these working.. I've heard about stablity problems in general since the launch so I hope once the dust settles and perhaps when X3D comes out most CPU's could use these dimms.

    Cooler Master MasterBox 600

Agreed.. CM hasn't been innovating anything the last 5 years in these mainstream types of cases... I'm pretty sure this case is just a previous masterbox with different front and top IO...

    AMD Ryzen 7 9700X

Honestly.. From what I've seen there's a lot of confusion around. A lot of people being dissapointed and salty at the near 0% perf increase in some cases. But it seems that these parts are mostly power limited, with quite some uplift when at iso power compared to Zen 4's 7600X/7700X. It also...

GameMax Launches GX-1050 PRO BK/WH ATX 3.1 PCIe 5.1 Power Supply Units

Who is the OEM for this product? Seems like a lovely power supply with that price.

Cooler Master Announces GP57ZS Curved Gaming Monitor

Hmm, how does this compare to samsung's 57 inch SW? The same panel obviously, but there must be differences.

    TP-Link Launches the $99 Archer BE3600 WiFi 7 Router

Pretty impressed honestly.. If it weren't for my single outside deco unit making me want to go all deco, this would be a good upgrade incase one of my routers (used as ap) dies.

AMD Ryzen 9 9950X Supports PBO After All

Sounds like a weird mistake to make.. It's not like they confused the top model with some budget chips of similar naming..

Hands On with the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X "Zen 5" Desktop Processor

interesting, the zen 5 ccd's are much more square than zen 4. looks like the traces are closer to the iod as well (still should be up against the iod for latency imo). perhaps this is another reason why these chips may support higher memory speeds.

AGON by AOC Launches the 27G2ZN3-BK: 27-inch 280Hz Monitor

Eh, not really, they have been using this color scheme since 2020, probably even earlier than that actually. It's about time they get creative again though haha
