    P4 2.4C overclocking questions

Hey guys! I'm taking your advice lemonadesoda and buying new MB. Now I'm a little bit confused: AGP 8x 0.8V and 1.5V??!!! what's the deal? I'm having now AGP 8x 1.5V, but let's say ASUS P4P800 and ABIT IS7 has at 0.8V? Also I have noticed at QDI motherboards it says supports intel northwood...

    VIA PT880 Chipset

Hey guys! VIA PT880 Chipset - Supports FSB 400/ 533/800 MHz - Support Dual channel DDR 400*/333/266 memory upto 3 GB - Support AGP 8x or 4x at 0.8V (AGP 3.0) or 4x at 1.5V (not support 3.3V) Would these chipset go with ATI RADEON 9600 series?

    P4 2.4C overclocking questions

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! :) There is the f****** bottleneck.... I didn't pay attention, there's information on FSB speed in CPUID and mine is hitting the wall with 533MHz... First READ the "owners" manual carefully! :) :respect:lemonadesoda:respect:

    P4 2GHz (Northwood) - max voltage

thanks for answering... which sensors are more precise - the ones in bios or in CPUID? because in bios it's under 1.7V in CPUID is 1.68V-1.715... Enjoy!

    P4 2GHz (Northwood) - max voltage

I have a question about P4 2GHz. Have locked multiplyer on 20x. I'm stuck at 140 FSB and 1.625V, ram set to asynchronous, voltage 2.7 (highest possible), timings 3-4-4-7 (highest possible) at 201MHz (402MHz) - divider 6:4 (DDR:FSB). CPU temperatures are from 28C-35C. I have some space...

    Overclocking is Easy! Get Results!

The OCCT programe has test for stability and it takes a half an hour to perform. On the end you also get all the critical graphs. It helped me a lot. You really did help me a lot with this article and I'm sure many others too. Like somebody said, it should be a home page! Great work!

Prime95 and Memtest OK, Orthos reports error?

I am at 38% OC and 172.5MHz memory clock (2.5-3-3-7). I put 1.625V on core and 2.5V on memory (asynchronic). As I push any of parameters it crashes in winxp or doesn't boot at all. Prime95 and memtest are o.k., but orthos (blend mode) shows a red screen over 11min that says hardware error...

    Stuck at 38% OC...

Thanks to all of you! Better cooling in general (cause I know cooling overall is bad) or better than akasa? Relaxing meaning like 3-3-3-7 and voltage like 2.6? Thanks again, enjoy!

    Stuck at 38% OC...

Hi! VCORE voltage (P4 2.0 Northwood) is at 1.575V (everest CPUID 1.580-1.680), CPU clock at 2760MHz, SDRAM DDR276 timings (2.5-3-3-6), DRAM ratio 1:1. If I set VCORE to 1.575V and FSB on 140 it hangs. I have Asus PS48X-X so I have only 4 choices at memory frequency (auto, 103, 138, 172...
