A motherboard BIOS update doesn't "mess with the GPU firmware".
I see no justification to attempt to flash your GPU, and I don't recommend it at this point.
RGB settings in the motherboard BIOS wont control the RGB on the card AFAIK.
Gigabyte Control Center should be able to control the RGB on...
Buying an adapter with the same specs as the one you are using is one option, or you could contact Acer/Support/Repair My Acer and see if you can acquire the part from them.
Good Luck
How is the Verbatim Vi 550 attached?
Seriously, I don't see an obvious issue.
There was a BIOS update 3405 that listed "Support graphics card with M.2 storage". It's not very specific, but may be worth a try if you can't find anything else.
You didn't mention your target resolution, so I must assume you're down to the MSi G2712 and your game runs fine at 1080, but you just want it to look "better"?
Normally you would use VSR, to trick the game into thinking you have a 2k or 4k monitor and render at higher resolution. If the UI is...
The 4090 shows from 3% to 6% loss going from 3.0x16 to 3.0x8, depending on resolution.
The 6600XT shows 1.2% to 2.2% loss, and the 6700 is probably closer to this than the 4090.
You could make a boot disk and .bat file and do it headless or something.
If you have access to another GPU, and can use both at the same time that's an option.
Use another PC.
I asked about the switch because many cards that look like this one have dual BIOS, and a tiny switch to go between...
Did you test the card at all when it was working?
When you flashed it, did it actually complete the process successfully?
Isn't that a dual BIOS card with a physical switch?
If so, are you saying you flashed both BIOS?
Nvidia listed a 750 watt PSU for a 10900K system, but noted "A lower power rating may work depending on system configuration"
I would guess that it might "boot and run", and if it's an issue it will show itself under a load.
PSUs may lose some capacity over time, so YMMV.
If you're lucky your...
No doubt, it's an interesting configuration. As odd as it may have been, it was perfectly positioned to fill the gap between 7800XT and 7900XT in terms of both price and performance.
As for having less memory bandwidth than the 7800XT, it didn't matter. IMO it's more accurate to say the...
Originally AMD said "Smart Access Memory technology enablement requires...Ryzen 5000 or 3000 series CPU (excluding the Ryzen 5 3400G and Ryzen 3 3200G)"
I can't confirm support, but I can suggest you check your desired motherboard's BIOS manual for SAM support.
Looking at this Gigabyte A520...
Do you have any reference for that? I can't imagine any way eDRAM on the CPU package was used as some kind of cache by a discrete GPU.
From what I can see, disabling the iGPU would allow all the eDRAM to be used by the CPU.
