If this thing has the rubberized material glued on it anywhere, avoid it. I have had 4 SteelSeries mice now, and I liked them all. But every single one that has had rubberized material adhered to the sides of it, the glue wears down really fast and the pads start to shift around, causing the...
This is like, the coldest of takes. This isn't a CPU intended to be an upgrade from someone using a 5800X or equivalent CPU. It's a final upgrade for people using a 2xxx or even 1xxx series CPU so they can go a few years longer without having to rebuild their entire PC. The performance is there...
Why does the latency go up only when the Adrenalin driver is installed then? Unless the images provided are missing some other context, hence why I asked about it. If you're going to post a side-by-side of A (W11 with no driver) and B (W11 with driver), and the latter has increased latency, the...
Shouldn't the conclusion there be the issue is with the Adrenalin driver, not Windows 11? Unless there is some proof that Windows 10 with/without display drivers has notably lower latency. I'm also unsure how increased L3 Cache and DRAM latency would leader to a 10-20% performance loss in games...
The test systems at TPU are baselined around matching hardware--analogous motherboards, same drives, same RAM, etc. The whole system measurements might vary within a handful of watts, but you're not going to see massive swings from a different motherboard.
AMD has a long history of providing poor software support for their products. I'm compelled to believe if AMD owns up to several of these, it's more likely AMD dropped the ball consistently than some bizarre scheme by Microsoft to keep them down. I'd also add, Windows 10 scheduler isn't an issue...
Worth mentioning, Valve no longer takes a flat 30% cut. That was changed quite a while ago to be a sliding scale. Granted, that system benefits bigger game devs because it trends down based on total sales/revenue, but it's not a flat 30% as a lot of people indicate. Interestingly enough, GOG...
Did you even read the article? This is literally someone saying she's in the wrong for punching back when someone made a 20 minute YouTube video attacking her, because someone on Twitter allegedly spent thousands on her channel--and also claimed he was months behind on rent. There was no real...
This may shock you, but she's an entertainer. There are thousands of streamers with millions of followers that are not the best players in their games--both men and women. Nobody ever uses that argument when talking about male streamers, funny enough. People watch streamers for a multitude of...
The first post in this news article is someone claiming she's only getting a sponsorship because "she has bobs and vejene" while citing an article by a guy that was banned by YouTube and I believe Twitch multiple times for being an absolute scumbag. Then there's about a dozen posts by people...
I have to think so. I had a B450 and R5 2600 before my current setup, and it had a ton of problems with USB (and also with my GPU) that went away when I switched to 10700k/z490. My Mouse and Keyboard would often just stop working until I unplugged them and replugged them back in. I also had...
That is the unknown factor. We don't have numbers on yield, but we know that Intel had initially been struggling with yield on 10nm, and has since made improvements. Likewise, we know Samsung's 8nm process was struggling, but has since gotten better (for Nvidia 3000 series GPUs). TSMC's 7nm has...
