A beta bios for cpus that aren't going to be released until the end of they year. How does that help anyone ?

MSI Spatium M580 Frozr 4 TB

Filesharing via torrent magnet links is very easy and a convenient way to share large files and folders for free. Of course you can also upload them to public/private trackers if you want for more fun :). I'm pretty sure a lot of the linux distros are distributed via torrents. Say you want to...

MSI Spatium M580 Frozr 4 TB

I wish the bittorrent testing included making a torrent file from a folder that was 100 GB in size. I have a SN850X and it takes awhile to make a torrent file from a 600 GB folder with 8 MB piece size.

Tiny Corp. Pauses Development of AMD Radeon GPU-based Tinybox AI Cluster

If this guy had his way all of the amd gaming gpus would be sold out and only available via scalper pricing. Good riddance.

    Intel Core i9-14900KS

Is there any word on APO support expanding to include esports titles ? I didn't even know they had expanded it to 12 games now. I wouldn't mind ditching my 7800x3d since i think i have a defective motherboard or something - it only boots in 1 out of 20 attempts.

    Gigabyte's AORUS FO32U2P Sports DisplayPort 2.1 and a 4K 240 Hz QD-OLED Panel

I would like some 27" versions; 32" is too big for using kbm at a desk. Getting rid of dsc is good since it will allow for nvidia dsr to work again.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Super Founders Edition

I've been loving my 4080 and now they lowered the price by $200 and gave more performance. What a great deal. I forgot how bad amd's RT was; this card really is the nail in the coffin for them.

Farming Simulator 22 Patched with AMD FSR 3 + Frame Generation Support

I'm geniunely surprised at how many people are playing this game. Maybe i'll have to check it out. o_O

Seagate's Breakthrough 30TB+ HDDs Ramp Volume

Aren't these going to be DOA if they are just single actuator drives ? I don't see how someone would bother with using one of these when the rebuild time would be multiple days for a single drive.

NVIDIA Reveals RTX-Upgraded 2024 Game Lineup - Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition Leads the Pack

Awesome. I'll finally play through HL2 for the first time with full blown ray tracing. I feel like we are finally in the next generation of graphics thanks to nvidia and papa Jensen.

AMD Ryzen 7 8700G Confirmed to Feature Maxed Out Radeon 780M Clocked at 2.90 GHz

What is the limit on CUs they can put on the cpu before it is too memory starved from the ddr 5 to benefit ?

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series "Blackwell" On Course for Q4-2024

A 4070 Ti completly blows a 1080 Ti out of the water in terms of performance and features. The quality of video encoding on the newer nvdia gpus alone is worth the upgrade, let alone all the rtx / dlss features...

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series "Blackwell" On Course for Q4-2024

    CyberPunk with path tracing. Easily.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series "Blackwell" On Course for Q4-2024

Looking forward to it. Hopefully we can get hardware decode/encode of 12k videos and better ray tracing performance. The advancement we have seen from the 1080 Ti to the 4090 has been legendary, much like the jump from 2d to 3d.

    Samsung 870 EVO 4 TB

A m.2 drive in a 20 Gb/s usb enclosure smokes this ewaste if you need speed. Even a 10Gb/s encolsure should be enough. If you need capacity I don't think 416 MB/s is worth the tradeoff in space compared to a modern mech HDD. Mech HDDs can get around 280 MB/s with sequential writes on the outer...
