GeForce GTX 295 Preview Suggests Aggressive Pricing

Of course all reference boards look pooish. I wanna see what XFX does with it

I love the look. It's slick, black, and doesn't need to look deadly to be potent.

Am I the only person around here that doesn't care how a component looks, AT ALL? lol

haha nope, i'm pretty care free on looks, beside a computer tower/case of course. as long as it's priced right then idk what it looks like :nutkick:

A computer component is a computer component, they all look good to me. :) A bunch of fancey stickers don't make a damn bit of difference to me, since they don't make the component perform any better.

The only thing I sometimes think about is the case, but even then, if I'm on any kind of budget, I pick the cheapest case possible and put as much money as possible inside the computer.

Of course not. lol.

But I do have to say that I like how Nvidia cards look lately. Much more than I do Ati cards look, red and with flames, etc. I always found decoring with flames quite tasteless. Matrix, Alien FTW!! :rockout:

I dunno, Nvidia can do better.

I think a dual 280 would be better than a dual 260. I wonder if the reason they used two 260's is because they can't use 280. Possibly heat/power problems or something?

I think its more the case of allowing themselves to market another product later down the track. Nvidia since the G80 have released their highest performing card prior to the less performing cards. This could be a turnaround to the Ati trend where they release their shitty cards first.

I was extremely happy with the 9800GX2 after a few driver updates and look forward to another good experience with the GTX295. As for the price . . . Where were all these complainers when i picked up my 8800GTX for $1500au back in September/October 2k6.
