According to the official Nintendo DS site, the latest portable is about to be pretty in pink.

After releasing the original Crystal White Nintendo DS in Japan, Nintendo quickly followed with two new colors, Ice Blue and Enamel Navy. Now the company will continue to brighten up the DS Lite line with a bubble-gum pink model, officially called "Noble Pink." The newest addition to the lineup is slated to go on sale July 20 for 16,800 yen (roughly US $144), the same price as its counterparts, and will include a matching pink stylus.

Nintendo is known for having multi-colored consoles and handhelds. I like the idea though, it attracts younger gamers, and the color is better than Monarch's Computers for ladies.

You act like females don't play gameboys..
Actually, a lot of girls play gameboys. I sold my DS Fat (1st model) to a teenage girl. I think there is more interest in portable games probably because it is something you can just pickup and move around with, you dont have to anchor yourself to a tv.

That was my point :p

My girlfriend has a gameboy..

Your girlfriends a geek ;). Just kidding.... theres a lot of young ladies who enjoy games now. Like this one friend i have who is obsessed with yoshi's island because they're "soooo cute".

Nintendo should make a Gamegirl lol.... just gameboys with girlish colors. I bet it would be a hot item in Japan.

My 13 year old cousin has a GameBoy Advance and loves it. Maybe she has a Nintendo DS by now, haven't seen her since last summer. Portable consoles are definately not only for guys.
